FAQs
If you don't find the answer to your question here, please feel free to email us.
How exactly does Page Street work?
All members are given an access code to our smart keypad entry (which also tracks usage). You are welcome to come at any time that's convenient for you and choose a free cafe table or seat at the bar to work.

Feel free to bring your lunch or a snack. If you'd like to make your own coffee or tea, you'll find a cappuccino machine and electric tea kettle, as well as complimentary coffee and tea (the good stuff).

Everything other than 12:30 pm until 1:15 pm, which is our communal lunch time, is designated quiet time. If you'd like to talk with another writer, or use your phone, we ask you to go outside so others can continue to work.
Can I leave my computer?
We do not recommend that you leave your computer (or any other valuables) at Page Street. You are, however, welcome to leave books, notes, etc. on our shelves or in one of the drawers below.
What's the parking like?
The parking is relatively easy in both locations, with both metered and free parking.
Is there wifi?
Absolutely! We have our own dedicated wifi.
How do the public readings Work?
Every other month we hold a free, open-to-the-public reading of our member's writing. We alternate location for these readings between our SF and our Berkeley spaces.
How do we pay our membership fee?
If you are accepted as a member of Page Street, we will ask for your credit card information, and you will automatically be billed each month through Stripe.
If your credit card is declined, you will have 5 days to provide a new one. After that, your smart keypad access code will no longer be valid.

You may cancel your membership anytime with 30 days notice.
How do I become a member?
All potential members must be interviewed by one (or more) of our staff. You may request an interview by filling out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

We look forward to meeting you!
